Geneva – Lake Geneva – Rhone valley – Brig
Milan – Simplon Pass (open all year) – Brig
Germany – Basel – Bern – Kandersteg (Lötschberg, car transport) – Brig
Zurich or Lucerne – Gotthard (connection to National road 2) – Furka tunnel (car transport)
Brig – Betten Talstation FO, Cantonal road (approx. 12 km/8 miles), direct connection to Bettmeralp with the large cable car or with the small cable car via Betten-Dorf.
Lötschberg car transport: every 30 minutes. Furka car transport: every 60 minutes.
At Betten FO: multi-story car park with 275 indoor and 800 outdoor parking lots. |

Access by train
From Lausanne to Brig. Then take “Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn” train to Betten Talstation, from where the cable cars leave to the Bettmeralp.
From Lugano take the train to Göschenen where you change to Andermatt. In Andermatt take the “Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn” train to Betten Talstation.
From Zürich, Basel or Bern take the train to Brig via the Loetschberg tunnel. From Brig you take the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn to Betten Talstation.
At Betten Talstation take the cable-car to Bettmeralp |
