Climbers and nature-lovers, hikers and bikers, golfers and families with children all love this car-free sun plateau at the foot of the Aletsch glacier. Our youngest guests love seeing the marmots and everybody is fascinated by the Aletsch pathway along the longest ice-stream of the Alps, as well as the Aletsch forest. A visit to the Pro Natura Centre in the Villa Cassel on the Rieder-furka is very worthwhile. A summer highlight is the open-air film festival, held in the Aletsch Forest.
