Grindelwald gloried in the first ascent of the awe-inspiring Eiger North Wall and from then on, the Eiger became an attraction in itself. But Grindelwald also has good reason to be called the "glacier village". The Upper and the Lower Grindelwald glaciers round off the almost unlimited excursion options in this holiday paradise. Visit the wildly romantic Lower Glacier gorge ar accept the challenge of the steps to the Upper Glacier.
