Biking, hiking or simply doing nothing

Majestic mountain scenery, deep blue lakes and highlights of a culinary, cultural or sporting nature - Flims Laax Falera provide the perfect setting for unforgettable holidays.  Flims Laax Falera deserves its reputation as a hiking paradise: 250 km of hiking trails, including several theme trails, take you past natural wonders such as the Rhine Gorge, the Flims Stone or the Martinsloch. Thanks to the numerous barbecue areas and restaurants getting a good meal is no problem at all. And the mountain lakes Cauma, Cresta or Laax are just the thing for a refreshing dip.

Flims Laax Falera host events such as the International Alpine Hot Air Balloon Week or the Menhir-Festival, and the natural beauty of the area is equally appealing: for example the Tschingel horns, the high Bargis valley and the Rhine Valley never fail to amaze visitors and locals alike. Flims Laax Falera is a holiday resort for the whole family: Dad can explore over 300 km of sign-posted bike trails, while the children enjoy themselves in the children’s zoo or on one of the many playgrounds. Then there are many hiking routes with barbecue areas which are suitable for children. The restaurants are family-friendly and there are the lakes to bathe in - always an attraction for both adults and children.

Flims Laax and Falera has something to offer on the cultural front too: the area offers various concerts and museums, plus the architectural gem “The Yellow House”, and the mystic megaliths in the Parc la Mutta, which have been standing in Falera since the Bronze Age. In winter Flims Laax and Falera offer to skiers and snow-boarders one of the largest inter-connected snow resort complexes in the Alps. More than 220 km of ski runs, covering all degrees of difficulty, as well as 100 km of prepared walking trails await. Besides downhill skiing, snowboarding and carving, there is also cross-country skiing, skating, sledding, curling, winter hiking and paragliding on the agenda.
